Can I have my dog inside? Absolutely yes! In order to access the outside facilities, you must first enter through the bar doors with your furry friends on leash. This ensures our staff Dog Owners have the opportunity to greet you and let you know about the rules. After making a purchase and paying your Dog fee, your dog can be anywhere inside the building (except the kitchen of course) as long as he or she is kept on a leash.
What is the Dog Ownership fee for?
1. Paying the fee ensures your agreement with our rules and enables many of the safety measures of our pup and human friendly business.
2. Dog fees assist with the added costs associated with keeping our unique establishment clean for all of our Dog Owners and staff. We take great pride in keeping everything healthy and clean.
Do you have somewhere my dog can play off leash?
We sure do! We have over 1000 square feet outdoor, fenced in, off leash area for your dogs to play. We just ask that you clean up after your dog and make sure they play well with others. This area functions like a dog park where YOU assume all responsibility for YOUR dog and its behavior. If your dog doesn’t like being approached by other dogs, we recommend staying on the inside, with your dog leashed. After making a purchase and paying for your Dog fee, you are automatically eligible to use our off leash facilities during your visit.
Do I have to show proof of my dog's vaccination records? We do not require Dog Owners to show vaccination proof when entering Pub Dog. You do, however, need to make sure your dog is up to date on all vaccinations and licenses. If your dog is involved in any type of incident or altercation, the other dog parents will most likely want to see those records so we recommend making sure they are easily accessible before entering our establishment.
Does my dog have to be spayed or neutered?
In the off leash area – YES
In the inside – NO
We do not expect dogs under the age of 1 year to be spayed or neutered. However, we reserve the right to ask you to leave if you are not abiding by this rule.
What happens if my dog gets injured? When you enter the premises, you are agreeing to all of the rules set by BRK. One of these rules is that Dog Owners are liable for damage, injury or illness inflicted by their dogs. This means owners are financially and legally responsible for their dog’s behavior. If there is an injury to any dog, BRK employees must be notified. We will fill out an incident report and facilitate the exchange of information between both parties. From here, it is up to both doggie parents to work together on medical treatments for either or both dogs.
Can the employees touch the dogs? BRK staff are only allowed to touch dogs in emergency situations. If any staff member touches a dog for any reason, the first thing they do is wash their hands….twice.
What if there is an aggressive dog? Please let any BRK staff member know immediately if you feel like there is a dog that is being aggressive and we will handle the situation. Dog Owners who cannot control their dogs will be asked to leave immediately.
Does BRK have breed restrictions? Not at this time. We understand that dog’s behavior is often dictated by their owners, which means that there are many exceptions to every breed stereotype out there. We strive to facilitate a very inclusive environment here at BRK. As long as your dog is well-behaved and plays well with other dogs, we welcome them. We do however, reserve the right to ask any patron to leave that has a dog that is acting aggressively or who won’t follow the rules.
Can I use the off leash area and not purchase anything? No. Our facilities are available to dogs with paying Dog Owners only. Just purchase any drink or merchandise from the bar and a small percentage Dog Ownership fee will be added to your bill. By paying this fee, you are automatically eligible to use any of our facilities during your visit.
Why does my dog need to be on a leash when inside? This rule is in place to ensure the safety and comfortability of all of our guests and guests with their dogs. We want our patrons to have the best possible experience in our facility. Having your dog leashed in these areas ensures ALL patrons and dogs comfort and safety while at BRK bar service.
A NOTE ABOUT DOG BAD BEHAVIOR
Our goal is to provide a safe, healthy environment for dogs to play. Please do your part and watch your animal. By entering the park you are allowing your dog to be handled by all staff of BRK Republic

If we observe aggressive behavior, we reserve the right to:
· Reposition the dog within the park
· Placed in time-out
· Remove the dog from the premises

If a dog fight occurs, please separate your dog and position them to calm down. If necessary remove them from the park. Follow staff and rufferee instructions.

No bullies are allowed. Dogs inherently play “rough.” However, rough play is not accepted if the one or more of the dogs aren't comfortable with the situation. If a dog is deemed to “bully” another dog, the owner will be asked to place their dog in “time-out.” Mounting is also discouraged.
A NOTE ABOUT HUMANS
Outside food, drinks. treats and toys are not permitted to be brought into the park. However, our "soft no ball rule" allows for ball play when there are only a couple of dogs that are not possessive of balls.

Glass containers are not permitted outside of the tap room. This includes bottled beer and soda. Ask for a cup.

Please, pick up after your dog.

Children under 12 years old are strongly discouraged from entering the park except on a "family fun day." A waiver for their entry will be required. Children must obey all dog owners and act responsibly around the dogs or they will be asked to leave.

Please be mindful when opening gates and do not let the dogs out.

If a human guest is intoxicated and unable to walk (with a dog) in a straight line, they will be sent home in a taxi or Uber.

BRK is not responsible for any injury, illness, or damage caused on our premises, and all human guests must be responsible for their dogs. If your dog causes any damage to a person or property by nipping, biting, or otherwise, you are responsible!

Failure to comply with the above Rules and Regulations could result in revocation of membership.

Remember that these rules are in place to help everyone have as much fun as possible! We look forward to seeing you
